Clay Wedin has been committed to Michigan State since June of 2022. The 3-star offensive lineman appears to have had a change of heart, announcing his decommitment from the Spartans Monday evening.

This comes after Michigan State’s fourth straight loss of the season, falling to Ohio State 49-20 on Saturday.

He announced his decision via Twitter on Monday.

Wedin, a 6-foot-6 prospect out of Tampa, is considered a 4-star prospect per 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s the No. 389 prospect in the nation, the No. 22 interior offensive lineman and the No. 73 player out of the state of Flordia in the Class of 2023 rankings.

Wedin holds B1G offers from Michigan, Indiana, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State and Maryland.
