Michigan State will be without one of its best players along the interior for the rest of its game against Purdue and for the 1st half next week against Maryland.

Simeon Barrow was ejected from the game after he got called for targeting on quarterback Aidan O’Connell. Barrow sacked O’Connell and the ref deemed he made contact with his head, which got him disqualified.

Before Barrow got kicked out, he had 2 tackles and a sack for the Spartans defense. After he went out, the Boilermakers drove down the field and scored the go-ahead touchdown to make it 28-21.

Barrow was having a strong season through the Spartans’ first 8 games. He recorded 26 total tackles 11 solo) with 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 pass deflected.
