Michigan State will look to bounce back from its first loss of the season when they host Maryland on Nov. 13. Michigan State was 8-0 before falling 40-29 to Purdue last week.

Ahead of the conference clash, Michigan State named its team captains. The captains will be linebacker Noah Harvey, quarterback Payton Thorne, and safety Xavier Henderson.

Thorne has passed for 2,173 yards, 17 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Harvey has totaled six solo tackles and a sack. Henderson has tallied 46 solo tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception.

Michigan State is 8-1 overall and second place in the B1G East.

Maryland lost 31-14 vs. Penn State last week. Maryland has a 5-4 overall record and is fifth place in the B1G East.

Michigan State leads the all-time series 9-2 and is on a three-game winning streak vs. Maryland. The last meeting was a 19-16 home victory by Michigan State.

Michigan State-Maryland is slated for a 4 p.m. (EST) kickoff and will be televised on FOX.
