Michigan State off to hottest start since 2015 season
There are currently five teams in the B1G that are 4-0. Among those are the No. 20 Michigan State Spartans, who are on their best start to the season since 2015. That was the last time Michigan State won the B1G Conference Championship game and appeared in the College Football Playoffs.

Michigan State already has some big wins, including one the road to the No. 24 Miami (FL) Hurricanes. They also have two conference wins four games into the season.
The Spartans took care of the Northwestern Wildcats on the road 38-21 in week one. Last Saturday, Michigan State defeated a mentally rejuvenated Nebraska Cornhuskers 23-20 in overtime.
The Spartans are on a solid path to potentially win the B1G East Division in Mel Tucker’s second year as head coach.
They will play three more teams currently ranked in the top 25 through their remaining season. Michigan State will face to face No. 10 Ohio State on the road in Columbus, but they will have No. 19 Michigan and No. 6 Penn State at home.
