Michigan State has officially hired Saeed Khalif away from Wisconsin.

The athletic department announced on Friday that Khalif has officially been hired at Michigan State. He will be the director of player personnel for the Spartans. Khalif had been part of the Badgers’ staff for the past five seasons.

“Saeed is relentless when it comes to recruiting and has a proven track record of success in the Big Ten,” said head coach Mel Tucker. “He also has coaching experience and understands the importance of developing players. I’m excited he’s here on campus and hitting the ground running this month. He will have an immediate impact on our program.”

Khalif was in the same role at Wisconsin before taking the job at Michigan State. With official visits opening back up, hiring Khalif should help Michigan State significantly on the recruiting trail.
