Michigan State is looking for a bit of revenge in Week 3, but it will not be easy. The Spartans are facing No. 8 Washington in East Lansing one year removed from a disappointing trip and road loss to the Huskies.

On Sunday, Circa Sports dropped the opening lines for notable college football games in Week 3, and the Spartans opened as a +13 home underdog. A lot of that has to do with Michigan State’s loss and 5-7 record a season ago while the Huskies were one of the more impressive teams in the Pac-12.

That game will have a bit more intrigue after a report of sexual harassment allegations leveled against Mel Tucker was published Saturday evening. According to multiple Sunday reports, the head coach will be suspended during the course of the investigation.

With the Spartans likely to have an interim coach during the investigation, it’s possible the Spartans wind up as an even bigger underdog by the time kickoff rolls around. In fact, DraftKings has the Huskies up to -16 since the opening line was released.

We’ll see how Michigan State responds this week after a 2-0 start for the season but a massive test awaiting.
