Mel Tucker can add another feather in his cap on the recruiting trail. He went back to Colorado to land an offensive tackle this week.

Braden Miller, a native of Aurora, Colorado, announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he has committed to Michigan State. He becomes the seventh player of the 2022 recruiting cycle to verbally pledge to the Spartans.

“I would like to thank my family for helping me to achieve my dreams,” Miller wrote on Twitter. “With all that being said, I am extremely excited to announce that I will be committing to Michigan State University!!”

Miller, a 6-foot-7, 290-pound offensive lineman, picked Michigan State over offers from 14 other programs. Other Power 5 schools to extend offers include Stanford, Kansas State, Arizona State, Colorado, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Miami, Michigan Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Utah.

Per 247Sports, Miller ranks as the No. 79 offensive tackle in the class and is a Top 5 prospect out of Colorado. He took a recruiting visit to East Lansing on June 4.

Michigan State’s 2022 class currently ranks No. 35 nationally and No. 8 in the B1G.
