A Michigan State star has made the final cut for the 2018 Senior CLASS Award. The announcement was made on Wednesday.

Spartans senior safety Khari Willis was named one of 10 finalists for the award and was the only B1G player to receive a mention. The award honors players who excel on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

From the Senior CLASS Award website:

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I FBS senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition. The complete list of finalists follows this release.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.
