Michigan State still in the mix to land talented 4-star dual-threat QB from Texas
One of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2021 recruiting class still has Michigan State in consideration after narrowing down his list of schools.
Saturday, four-star quarterback Kaidon Salter narrowed down his list of interests to 11 programs. Michigan State remained in the mix, and was the only B1G school to receive any mention. Salter released a graphic on Twitter to make his announcement.

Salter is a native of Cedar Hill, Texas and is listed as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound QB is ranked as one of the top 300 players in the cycle, coming in at No. 244 overall.
During the recruiting period, Salter has received more than two dozen offers. Along with Michigan State, he’s also considering Auburn, Tennessee, Baylor, Kansas, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Utah, Ole Miss and UCLA.
Michigan State does not currently have a prospect committed in its 2021 class. This cycle will be the first full recruiting class for new head coach Mel Tucker.
