Michigan State is pegged as a 7.5-point favorite in its Week 2 bout with an in-state rival.

According to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press, the Spartans are more than a touchdown favorite against Western Michigan when the two teams clash next weekend. The game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. in East Lansing and will air on BTN.

Western Michigan will be the second MAC opponent of the year for Michigan State, which clobbered Bowling Green 35-10 in Week 1.

Last week, the Broncos put up a tough fight against No. 4 USC, but eventually fell 49-31.

The Spartans and Broncos last met in 2015 in Kalamazoo. Michigan State won 37-24 en rout to a B1G title and a berth in the College Football Playoff.
