Michigan State to host in-state school, ex-Tom Izzo assistant during nonconference action
One of Michigan State’s nonconference matchups for the 2021-22 season has been finalized.
On Friday, Eastern Michigan announced and unveiled its complete schedule for the upcoming basketball season. Included on that schedule is a Nov. 20 road trip to East Lansing to face Tom Izzo and the Spartans.
That means Izzo will get to square off against a former assistant in Stan Heath. Heath took over at Eastern Michigan following a stint coaching the Lakeland Magic of the NBA’s G League.
