After a hot start to the 2019 college football season, Michigan State wide receiver Darrell Stewart is getting some national attention.

This week, Stewart was added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List after turning some heads through the first four weeks of the season. He was one of a handful of players to be added to the original list. While there are plenty of B1G receivers on the list, he’s the only late addition.

Stewart currently leads the B1G in receiving yards, totaling 439 in four games. He’s totaled 30 receptions and a touchdown, as well.

Already, Stewart is on pace to have the best season of his career. Stewart’s best year came in 2017, catching 50 passes for 501 yards two touchdowns. Last fall, the Spartan ended the year 413 yards and a touchdown on 48 receptions.

Stewart has been a key part of the offense this season and has been more than deserving of the inclusion on the list.
