Aaron Henry will not be in the starting lineup for Michigan State on Sunday.

Henry is obviously a key member of the Spartans and has looked good to start the season. His versatility has proven crucial to start the year and he chipped in a double-double in the win over Detroit Mercy.

Unfortunately, Henry will not be starting against Western Michigan. According to Kyle Austin with MLive, Henry is not starting after reporting late to a team meeting.

Henry is still expected to play in the game:

It will be interesting to see when Henry makes his appearance, but the BTN broadcast did indicate that Izzo said he plans to play Henry. Izzo indicated Henry was late to a film review and wanted to set a precedent by sitting him to start the game.

Henry is averaging 11.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists through four games to start this season. Hopefully he is able to provide a spark Sunday when he comes in off the bench.
