Michigan State’s Chuck Brantley on game-winning INT vs. Michigan: ‘It’s a lifetime memory’

Michigan State is coming off its biggest winning of the year against rival Michigan. The Spartans defeated the Wolverines 37-33 in East Lansing on Saturday afternoon.

No. 5 Michigan State is undefeated 8-0 and 5-0 in B1G play. They are in the driver’s seat in the B1G East division race.

The Spartans have only beaten 1 team that are still in AP poll; Michigan at No. 9. The Spartans beat Miami when they were No. 24 at the time.

CB Chuck Brantley had the game-winning interception to seal the game for the Spartans.

On Tuesday, Brantley got to talk about his game-winning play against the Wolverines at Michigan State’s press conference.

“It was a great feeling,” said Chuck Brantley, according to Chris Solari. “I feel like I made a play that …” he gets emotional. “It’s a lifetime memory.”

Brantley on Saturday had 4 tackles along with the game-winning interception.

The Spartans go on the road to face B1G West foe Purdue in West Lafayette at 3:30 ET on ABC.
