Rivalries in college football are so beautiful, but trash talk is pretty rare these days. Players’ and coaches’ quotes go viral when any trash talk is included; so, players are instructed to stay away from it.

Well, Michigan State RB LJ Scott just doesn’t care. He’s going to speak his mind. During Big Ten Media Days, Scott fired a shot at Michigan.

“It’s just like we get no respect from them,” Scott said. “And I pretty much learned that freshman year.”

Scott was then pressed by a reporter why he thinks there’s a lack of respect from UM and their fans, according to the Detroit Free Press.

“I don’t know, probably because they’re our little sisters, I guess,” Scott said.

That quote won’t be posted in Michigan’s locker room tomorrow, will it? You can bet Michigan will eat that one up.

The Spartans have backed that up pretty well, though, winning eight of the last 10. Michigan State beat Michigan 14-10 in Ann Arbor in 2017, too.
