While Michigan State ended up losing to Florida Gulf Coast 85-84 on Monday, Nia Clouden broke the school record for most points scored in a game.

Clouden went 17-for-28 scoring 50 points in the overtime loss to FGCU, and was also 15-for-17 from the free-throw line. It was an incredible performance on the road for the Michigan State star.

Clouden is averaging 19.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. She is also shooting a solid 47.8% from the field as well.

Clouden also joined the list of players from B1G who have scored 50 in a game. She became the 3rd player to do so. As if that wasn’t enough, Clouden leads the nation in points per game as well.

Clouden and 7-5 Michigan State continue their season against 6-3 West Virginia in the West Palm Beach Invitational at 11 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
