The Spartans’ offensive line was outstanding in their win over Youngstown State and they earned high praise after that win.

Pro Football Focus had the Spartans OL as the 2nd best unit from Week 2 with an 86.6 grade, right behind Baylor, who was at 99.9.

The Spartans unit also beat out 2 really good offensive lines going into the season in Ole Miss and Louisville.

MSU didn’t give up any sacks in their 42-14 win on Saturday and they hardly gave up any quarterback hurries either. Yes, it’s only Youngstown State, but that’s still an impressive feat any way you cut it.

Their line will have to be just as good this coming weekend when MSU will travel to Miami to take on a stout Hurricanes defensive front.

MSU will also be putting their undefeated season on the line as they come into this matchup at 2-0, while Miami is 1-1. Kickoff is set for Noon ET on Sept. 18.
