Michigan State is locked in at No. 6.

The Spartans, which came in at No. 6 in the latest Coaches Poll, took the same spot in the Associated Press poll.

An idle week for Michigan State didn’t change much of anything within the top 10. Ohio State, which was also idle, is still at No. 1 in the Associated Press poll. Iowa beat Maryland 31-15 but still found itself at No. 10.

Michigan was the only B1G team to drop in the latest AP poll. The Wolverines fell one spot to No. 16 after escaping Minnesota with a win.

Michigan State is one of three undefeated B1G teams that will head into the first College Football Playoff poll on Tuesday. The Spartans are the only B1G team to have a win against a top-15 team on the road.

The Spartans will travel to Lincoln to take on a struggling Nebraska squad next Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
