According to, Michigan State staff member Curtis Blackwell was suspended with pay by the university.

Blackwell is known in the recruiting community for being the previous co-director of Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy, which has camps across the country. He served in that role until coming to Michigan State before the start of the 2013 season.
