Winston is seventh all-time in minutes played at Michigan State, plus he’s fifth all-time in three-point field goals made.
Even better, he has the all-time record for assists as a Spartan with 890. That record is also the all-time Big Ten record for assists.
Over the last two seasons, he’s averaged just north of 18 points per game. He shot almost 45% from the field this past season, and his three-point percentage was 43.2%.
His best season as a three-point shooter was during the 2017-2018 season when he was 49.7% from deep range.
Winston will go down as one of the most accomplished basketball players in Spartans history and he’s projected to be a first-round pick.
For this year’s Spartans, their season is going to kick off soon and part of it will include a matchup against Virginia in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. That game is slated for Dec. 9.
