MSU WR Jalen Nailor breaks Rutgers' stadium record with remarkable 1st half performance
Some days it’s just your day.
For Michigan State wide receiver Jalen Nailor, if the first half of Saturday’s game with Rutgers is any indication, it was his day. Nailor found the end zone three times, and racked up 208 yards in to set an SHI Stadium record for receiving yards, topping the 207 yard mark set by Larry Fitzerald in 2003 — and he still has a half to go.
The speedy Spartans wide receiver put MSU on the board with a 63-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Payton Thorne in the first quarter.

Nailor followed that with a 2nd-quarter, near out of bounds reception with a reverse-gear move to take it to the endzone for a second 63-yard TD.
You probably figured Jalen Nailor would be down near the sideline.
Nope. 😱

Finally, Thorne hit Nailor again on the flea-flicker, this time for a 65-yard touchdown and his third of the game, putting the Spartans up 21-13.

With just a decent second half, Nailor could find himself surpassing the current Michigan State record for recieving yards in a game of 270, held by Charles Rogers against Fresno State in 2001.
