Xavier Henderson had plenty to say after No. 8 Michigan State’s thrilling 37-33 win over No. 6 Michigan on Saturday.

According to Michigan State’s star safety, several former Michigan players spent the week leading up to the top-10 matchup of heated rivals talking trash about the Spartans.

Michigan State (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) let its play on the field do the talking as the Spartans rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half to hand Michigan (7-1, 4-1) its first loss of the season.

Henderson had seven tackles in the win, but the loudest on-field performance came from Michigan State’s star running back Kenneth Walker III. The Wake Forest transfer rushed for 197 yards and five touchdowns in a Heisman Trophy-worthy effort that will haunt the Wolverines for years to come.
