A pair of Michigan State players have entered the transfer portal. This of course comes in the middle of the season, weeks after Mel Tucker was fired for cause at the end of September.

The first to enter was defensive tackle Simeon Barrow, followed by OL Keyshawn Blackstock. Both entries were confirmed by a MSU spokesperson on Tuesday.

Of the 2, Barrow is the most significant loss for the Spartans. The 4th-year Spartan was a 3-star recruit  in the Class of 2020 and turned into a strong player. He has 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks on the year for the Spartans in 2023.
