Panda picks: Atlanta Zoo gets in on Peach Bowl predictions
Michigan State had an incredible year in head coach Mel Tucker’s 2nd season. The Spartans finished 10-2 on the season and 7-2 in B1G play.
Michigan State finished with a No. 10 ranking in the final poll of the College Football Playoff. It was good enough to land them in a New Year’s Six bowl for the first time in 6 years.
No. 10 Michigan State is heading to Atlanta, GA., to take on No. 12 Pitt in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Today the Atlanta Zoo had Yang Yang the Panda pick the winner of the Peach Bowl.

The last time the Spartans were in an NY6 Bowl, they were in the CFP Semifinals and got trounced by Alabama 38-0. Pitt has never made an NY6 bowl appearance; it’s the Panthers’ first appearance. The last time Pitt was in a major bowl game was the 2004 Fiesta Bowl.
You can watch the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 7:00 ET on ESPN between the Spartans and the Panthers.
