Michigan State is trying to get past the disappointing result against Purdue, and the Spartans are starting hot in Week 11 vs. Maryland.

The first touchdown of the game came on a familiar play. It was a picture-perfect flea-flicker with the defense getting caught off guard on the handoff to Kenneth Walker III. That allowed Montorie Foster to get a step behind the defense for the 52-yard touchdown.

Then, it was another touchdown toss from Payton Thorne that gave Michigan State its second score. This time, Thorne looked toward Jayden Reed with Reed getting behind his man down the sideline.

Thorne’s throw was a beautiful one right to the pylon with Reed running under it for the touchdown. The extra point was missed, making it 13-0 Spartans in the first quarter:
