Michigan State fans will have the unique opportunity to watch the Spartans’ NCAA Tournament games in a special format this year.

On Monday, it was announced that quarterback Payton Thorne and wide receiver Jayden Reed will team up to host a ManningCast-style broadcast during Michigan State’s NCAA Tournament games this year. It is an NIL opportunity for the two football student-athletes.

Playfly Sports announced the unique broadcast opportunity, which will be titled Campus Cat Live: East Lansing Edition.

Campus Cast Live represents the very best of what NIL can and should be,” said Playfly Sports Properties president Christy Hedgpeth. “Not only will student athletes be compensated for their efforts, but more importantly, they will also receive valuable broadcasting experience and career development opportunities. At the same time, this new platform represents highly compelling content with which Playfly can engage college sports fans and deliver value to our brand partners. We are setting the pace for how MMR firms can drive strategic outcomes for school partners through NIL.”

Michigan State received a No. 7 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament. The Spartans will play No. 10 seed Davidson in the first round on Friday at 9:40 p.m. on CBS.
