Payton Thorne has no shortage of weapons heading into his junior season in East Lansing. One such weapon that has been flying under the radar is sophomore receiver Keon Coleman.

And the Thorne to Coleman connection appears to be strong with just a week remaining until Michigan State football.

Coleman caught just 7 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown in his freshman season for the Spartans. Now, with only Jayden Reed and Tre Mosely returning legitimate production from last season, Coleman seems the most apt to step up and be a legitimate threat this season.

Thorne threw for 3,233 yards, 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2021.
