Pat Narduzzi won’t be the next head coach at Michigan State. The current leader at Pitt made it a point to squash any and all rumors tying him with the job on Wednesday afternoon.

Narduzzi’s name quickly emerged as one of the leading candidates for the job, having been on Mark Dantonio’s staff for eight years in East Lansing and was part of two B1G title-winning teams. In 2015, Narduzzi became the head coach at Pitt, where he’s guided the Panthers to a 36-29 record, four bowl games and one ACC Championship Game appearance in five years.

You can understand why he’d be at the top of the list since Dantonio’s resignation on Tuesday.

But, Narduzzi shot down those rumors, posting a hilarious video on Twitter on Wednesday. While his video editing skills may need some work, Narduzzi used the popular clip from The Wolf of Wall Street movie to make his point loud and clear. Below is what Narduzzi fired out Wednesday:

It seemed to be a pretty big hit. And now, Pitt fans don’t have to worry about finding a new head coach so late in the game. So there’s some relief, as well.

Michigan State is working on making its first coaching hire in 13 seasons. Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell also shot down rumors of being interested in the position, narrowing down MSU’s pool even further.
