Remarkable: Kenneth Walker III holds college football's longest streak in key area
In addition to leading the Big Ten in rushing yards so far this season, Kenneth Walker III is arguably the most ball-secure running back in the country.
According to Pro Football Focus, Walker has now gone 315 carries without fumbling.

Of course, many of those carries came at Wake Forest. Walker transferred from Wake prior to the 2021 season.
So far this year, he has totaled 913 yards on 129 carries for the Spartans. He’s also scored 9 touchdowns across 6 games.
Walker’s emergence as one of the nation’s best running backs is a big reason why the Spartans are 6-0 this season. Michigan State is No. 10 in the latest AP Poll, which was released on Sunday afternoon.
Michigan State is looking to win more than 7 games in a season for the first time since 2017. The Spartans haven’t been to a bowl game since 2019.
However, Michigan State still has plenty of tough games remaining — vs. No. 8 Michigan, at No. 6 Ohio State and vs. No. 7 Penn State.
The Spartans face Indiana in Bloomington next week.
