Former Michigan State and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell has reportedly found a new home for the 2021 season.

Steeler fans aren’t going to like it as Bell has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. That’s per a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter:

As Schefter reports, Bell will first be signed to the practice squad so he can likely learn the offense. After that, he’ll be elevated to the 53-man roster where he’ll get to take some snaps away from Gus Edwards. Jeff Darlington on ESPN’s SportsCenter reported that he’s already in game-shape so it’s all about getting reps.

Bell was with the Steelers for the first 5 years of his career and he was arguably the best running back in the league during that time. He had 3 seasons of 1,200 yards rushing or more and his career-high was in 2014 when he finished with 1,361.

Since 2017, Bell hasn’t been the same player as he’s bounced around the league a bit. He played 2 seasons with the Jets and finished with close to 900 yards rushing combined before signing with Kansas City for the 2020 season. Bell had 63 rushes for 254 yards and 2 touchdowns while playing under Andy Reid.
