Report: Michigan State redshirt sophomore WR hits transfer portal
Michigan State has seen another player enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Friday, Rainer Sabin of the Detroit Free Press reported that redshirt sophomore wide receiver Javez Alexander has put his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He’s one of more than a dozen players from Michigan State who has decided to look for a new home outside of East Lansing since mid-November.
Alexander, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver arrived at Michigan State as a member of the 2018 recruiting class. He saw limited time on the field during his time with the Spartans.

Per his player profile at MSUSpartans.com, Alexander played in one game during his career at Michigan State. He appeared in the 2019 game against Western Michigan. He did not record any statistics.
The Sandusky, Ohio native was a 3-star member of the 2018 recruiting class. He was listed as the No. 53 player of his class from the state of Ohio.
Michigan State ended the 2020 season with a 2-5 record in the first season under Mel Tucker.
