A veteran defender, Jack Camper will finish his career away from East Lansing.

Camper, a fifth-year defensive lineman for the Spartans, announced on Sunday he has put his name in the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-5 defensive lineman joined the program out of the 2017 class from Virginia. He redshirted his first year as he transitioned from tight end to the defensive side of the ball, but appeared in 25 games over the course of the next 3 seasons.

He made just 3 appearances for the Spartans this year though, missing the bulk of the season with an undisclosed issue. Camper ends his career with 29 tackles 4.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. He’ll have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
