Former Michigan State RB Ken Walker III had his name called by Seattle Seahawks in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 41st overall pick. Pete Carroll gave his thoughts on Walker’s upbringing at Michigan State, and how it has prepared him for the NFL.

Carroll talked about how Walker’s time at Michigan State has really prepared him for the NFL is like.  The Seahawks’ head coach stated that he is very excited about what Walker bring to the table in a recent interview.

Here’s all of what Carroll had to say about the exciting young rookie from East Lansing:

“He’s a rocket,” said Carroll. “He caught the ball really well today too, which we are really excited about. Our offense, the terminology, and the concepts that we have run, he’s run before. And he was well prepared at Michigan State coming to us.”

So far it seems that the 2022 Doak Walker and Walter Camp Award winner has impressed Carroll. We’ll see if Walker can keep impressing during the remainder of camp.
