For the fourth time in five years, ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to East Lansing, according to one of the shows producers.

Michigan State will play host to the ESPN crew for its headliner showdown against No. 7 Oregon next Saturday.

The Spartans were at the center of the college football world last year for their November showdown against Ohio State. Both teams came into the contest undefeated in the Big Ten, but a monster game from J.T. Barrett saw the Spartans come up short.

Each of the last two GameDay appearances in East Lansing were losses to Ohio State. Sparty hasn’t won in the headliner since beating Wisconsin 37-31 in 2011, when Lee Corso picked the Spartans in his 200th headgear game.

Saturday will mark the eighth time the Spartans have played host to GameDay.

Michigan State will be taking on an Oregon squad that it lost to in Week 2 in Eugene last year. The headliner showdown is the only game next week with two preseason top-10 teams.

The 2015 season got off to a successful start for the Spartans with a 37-24 victory at Western Michigan on Friday night.

There’s still no word on who the guest picker will be.
