Michigan State is getting set to play its bowl game in a unique venue.

This year, Mark Dantonio and the Spartans are in New York City to face Wake Forest in the Pinstripe Bowl. One of the unique touches to this bowl game is the fact that it is played in Yankee Stadium, traditionally a baseball venue.

Fitting the football playing field inside a baseball diamond is not easy, but the crew for Yankee Stadium has done a nice job this year. Wake Forest Football shared a photo of the field lined out for Friday’s game, and it looks awesome.

Michigan State’s end zone will be located near home plate and the backstop of the stadium:

The Pinstripe Bowl has featured a B1G vs ACC matchup since 2014. The B1G is currently on a three-game winning streak in the bowl with Wisconsin winning the game in 2018.

Kickoff is set for Friday at 3:20 pm EST. Coverage will be on ESPN.
