Michigan State’s B1G opener on Sept. 24 against Minnesota is sure to be a good one. As of Monday, it officially has a kickoff time.

The Spartans and Golden Gophers will face off at 3:30 pm EST at The Woodshed.

Michigan State will be early favorites in this game, but don’t count Mohamed Ibrahim and the Golden Gophers out. PJ Fleck has Minnesota playing strong football heading into Week 3’s bout against Colorado.

The Spartans are playing well in their own regard. They’re ranked as the No. 11 team in the country after dispatching Western Michigan and Akron to start their season.
