Michigan State basketball head coach Tom Izzo got into his “shaky” offense during his pregame radio show before the Spartans take on No. 21 Minnesota on Monday night.
The Spartans have started 0-2 in Big Ten play after a 6-0 start to the season overall. Fortunately, both losses in the conference have come against teams that are ranked on the latest AP Poll.
Against Northwestern, Michigan State only put up 30 points in the first half and lost by 14 overall. Against Wisconsin, the Spartans put up 42 points in the first half and then only scored 34 in the second half to lose by nine.
With another huge game on the distant horizon, here’s what Izzo had to say about his offense and a whole lot more on his pregame radio show:
Tom Izzo on pregame radio show says MSU is “shaky in how we run things” on offense and adds “it’s not al Rocket’s fault.” Says it has carried over to Spartans’ defense.

Izzo says half of the players’ parents made it for MSU’s game Christmas Day.

Tom Izzo says on radio pregame show that he thinks MSU has "gotten some things straightened out."

Izzo says he thinks MSU will be able to run tonight vs. Minnesota, but adds "we just gotta play better."

Tip-off for the Spartans game against Minnesota will be at 8 p.m. The game will be televised by the Big Ten Network. Hopefully Michigan State is able to get off this slide against the Gophers.
