Michigan State was without forward Joey Hauser for a game against Eastern Michigan, but he is expected to return to action for Wednesday’s game against Loyola Chicago.

The Spartans are in the Bahamas to take part in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. It will provide a good test after a 3-1 start to the season after dropping the season opener vs. Kansas.

Heading into Wednesday’s tip-off, head coach Tom Izzo indicated Hauser will be playing but will not be in the starting lineup. Instead, Hauser will come off the bench vs. the Ramblers.

Malik Hall started vs. Eastern Michigan and finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds in that win. It will be interesting to see if Hall continues to take over that spot in the starting lineup moving forward.
