Tom Izzo is already fed up with the officiating. After his team blew a 12-point first half lead to Maryland, the Michigan State head coach had some words about some foul calls that occurred.

Walking off the court to head to the locker room, Izzo stopped to talk with Andy Katz of Big Ten Network for a halftime interview. When asked what frustrated him about the final few minutes of the half, Izzo sounded off.

Izzo wasn’t just upset with how the game had been called in the final two minutes, either:

Sure, Izzo eventually pointed back at his team’s poor play, but you could tell how upset he was with the officiating. We’ll see if anything improves in the second half.

Michigan State was up 23-11 on Maryland at one point in the opening half. Maryland got things rolling in the final 10 minutes, though, taking a 34-30 lead into the break.
