Trick play: Michigan State scores on 75-yard flea flicker on first play of the game
It did not take long for the Michigan State Spartans to score in their home opener.
QB Payton Thorne hit WR Jayden Reed on a 75-yard touchdown trick play with a flea-flicker.

Last week the Spartans scored on the first play of the game as well as RB Kenneth Walker III had a 75-yard rushing touchdown for the Spartans.
The Spartans opened the season with a 38-21 win against the Northwestern Wildcats.
Reed is a transfer from Western Michigan and, in two seasons with the Spartans, has 38 receptions for 471 yards on 12.4 yards per reception with 3 touchdowns.
Reed also has 7 rushing attempts for 29 yards on 4.1 yards per carry.
Michigan State heads to South Beach next weekend to play the No. 22 Miami Hurricanes.
