Vegas computer predicts close contest for Spartans in Redbox Bowl

Michigan State is no stranger to close games, and the Spartans could be in for another tight contest in the Redbox Bowl.
This season has been a challenging one as Mark Dantonio’s squad dealt with numerous injuries on either side of the ball. Still, the team was able to rally and finish 7-5 despite the trying circumstances.
Three of Michigan State’s wins this season came by seven points or less while five games total were decided by a touchdown or less. That experience could serve them well in Monday’s showdown with Oregon.
According to the computer score prediction produced by OddsShark, the game between the Ducks and Spartans will be decided by less than a touchdown:
The close prediction is not unsurprising considering Oregon enters the game as a slim -2 favorite. Can the Spartan defense rise to the occasion and produce another elite performance to end the season?
Kickoff against the Ducks is set for 3 pm EST on FOX.
