It has been a rough day for Michigan State, and things even went south for a minute during Mark Dantonio’s press conference.

The Spartans welcomed No. 10 Ohio State to East Lansing Saturday, but the game did not go as planned. Michigan State’s offense was unable to get rolling as both Brian Lewerke and Rocky Lombardi took turns at quarterback. Ohio State closed out the game in the fourth quarter for a 26-6 win.

Dantonio addressed a number of different issues in his post-game comments, including the decision to intentionally surrender a safety. There was even a moment when the lights in the press room had seen enough.

Matt Charboneau with the Detroit News shared the video of the unexpected blackout. “Par for the course,” exclaimed Dantonio. “That’ll make the internet.”
