There’s nothing better than celebrating a big win in a rivalry game. That’s arguably the part that makes college football so enjoyable.

Saturday night, Michigan State enjoyed a 35-21 win over Indiana in the annual battle for the Old Brass Spittoon.

Michigan State and Indiana aren’t your typical college football rivals, but the two teams have clashed on the gridiron 65 times and have put a little more emphasis on this matchup. The Spartans came out on top this weekend, reclaiming the Brass Spittoon for a second straight season.

And after the victory, Michigan State celebrated by singing the school’s fight song while surrounding the Spittoon. You could tell this victory meant something to the Green and White.

Michigan State now owns a 47-16-2 record in the all-time series and improved to 2-1 on the season. It’s also 1-0 in B1G play. The Hoosiers fell to 3-1 on the year and 0-1 in the conference.
