Mark Dantonio might have to worry about Michigan State’s marching band poaching some of his players soon.
The Spartan Marching Band paid a visit to the Michigan State practice field for a quick demonstration the other day, showing support for the team. But then, a few Spartan football players took over the drumsticks and showed off their musical talent.
And they were really, really good.
Running back Weston Bridges and wide receiver Jahz Watts showed of some incredible skills on the drums, which then hyped up their fellow teammates. Practice quickly turned into a musical celebration.
Big thank you to the @MSUMarchingBand for stopping by yesterday. What started as a demonstration of @iWestonBridges and @OfficiallyJahz skills quickly turned into a display of what makes this team so fun to be around.

Dantonio may have found a new way to fire his team up if he’s ever in need of a motivational tool. But he may have to fend off the marching band, too.
Michigan State kicks off the 2018 season on Friday, Aug. 31 at home against Utah State. We assume Bridges and Watts will sporting football pads and not band uniforms.
