Paul Bunyan is headed back to East Lansing!

Despite dropping Mel Tucker’s first game in Week 1, the Spartans responded in dramatic fashion. Michigan State took on in-state rival Michigan in Week 2, though the team entered the game as a three-touchdown underdog.

That line did not matter nor did it phase the team. The Spartans were disciplined and took advantage of a Michigan secondary that struggled to cover receivers and committed too many penalties.

In the end, it was a 27-24 victory as Tucker became just the second Michigan State head coach to beat Michigan in his first game against the Wolverines. After the game, Michigan State shared an awesome look inside the winning locker room.
