What Mark Dantonio said after Michigan State's win over Indiana
Michigan State got back on the winning side of the scoreboard this week, knocking off Indiana 35-21 in Bloomington. The win pushed the Spartans to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in B1G play.
The defense played really well, allowing Indiana to rush for just 29 yards. Coming into the contest, the Hoosiers had hit the 200-yard mark in each of their first three games. Shakur Brown also had a pick-six for MSU early in the game.
Offense was still an issue for the Spartans, who turned the ball over four times and struggled to take advantage of opportunities. And Michigan State had a difficult time running the football, though it was without lead ball-carrier L.J. Scott.
