What Mark Dantonio said during Sunday's teleconference following win over Indiana
The Spartans are back on track following Saturday’s 35-21 against Indiana.
Michigan State was coming off an early bye week and 16-13 upset to Arizona State, but the team was able to put that defeat behind them in the win over the Hoosiers. The Spartans led 28-7 at one point and finished the game off in the fourth quarter.
Following the win, Dantonio said he was pleased with the defense while also noting that the team must play better up front moving forward. Here’s what Dantonio had to say on Sunday following the win:
And Dantonio underway. Says after watching the game film, defense played well and allowed just one play of 20+ yards and also had six sacks (IU stats only had four, but two appeared to be miscredited as run plays).

Dantonio says using Matt Morrissey at LB in third-down/Delta package gives MSU basically a dime package. "He's a very versatile player. He plays all over the place for us." Partly used him due to RBs in pass coverage.
