After tremendous performances in Atlanta on Thursday night, Michigan State wide receiver Jayden Reed and linebacker Cal Haladay have received some major Peach Bowl honors.

Reed was named the Offensive MVP of the Peach Bowl while Haladay took home Defensive MVP honors. Both played a critical role in Michigan State’s come-from-behind win over Pitt in a 31-21 decision.

Reed ended the game with 80 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 catches. He caught Michigan State’s first touchdown pass to give it a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. The receiver also hauled in the go-ahead touchdown late in the game to put the Spartans ahead 24-21 in the fourth quarter.

Haladay racked up a team-high 11 tackles in the win, but his most impactful play came on Pitt’s final possession. The linebacker intercepted a Davis Beville pass and raced 78 yards to the end zone for a game-sealing pick-six.

Michigan State closes out the season with an 11-2 record.
