Xavier Henderson says Michigan State has 'target on its back' following 6-0 start
The Michigan State defense stood tall when they needed to on Saturday to hold off Rutgers, getting an impressive 31-13 road win over the Scarlet Knights.
After the dismal 2-5 season that was 2020, the 6-0 Spartans of 2021 are now on the radar of every team that remains on their schedule.
Michigan State defensive back Xavier Henderson knows the unbeaten mark is going to cause opponents to take notice. “It’s a good feeling. It’s definitely a different feeling than in years past, we know we got a target on our back now.”

This week, Michigan State will be back on the field against Indiana, attempting to improve to 7-0. The Spartans were shut out by the Hoosiers a year ago and are looking to get revenge on a struggling team in Bloomington.
But Henderson knows Michigan State is going to get Indiana’s best shot on Saturday.
And everyone else’s, really.
