An incredibly busy week in recruiting continues for P.J. Fleck and his staff, adding two more members to the 2020 recruiting class on Thursday.

Three-star defensive linemen Ali Saad and Gage Keys both gave their verbal pledges to Minnesota on Thursday night. The Golden Gophers have now added 11 players to the class in the last week and have 18 total commitments this cycle.

Saad is a three-star defensive end out of Dearborn, Michigan. At 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, Saad was ranked as one of the top 30 players out of his home state. He chose Minnesota over offers from Illinois, Northwestern, Rutgers, Boston College and Akron, among others.

Keys is a native of Hilliard, Ohio and also brings a good frame to the class. He stands 6-foot-5, 250 pounds and was listed as one of the top 50 players out of Ohio. The three-star defensive tackle had over a dozen offers but decided on the Golden Gophers.

Minnesota now has four defensive linemen committed in the 2019 class.

With the two additional commitments on Thursday, Minnesota has jumped up to No. 3 in the B1G recruiting rankings. Nationally, the Gophers sit at No. 22.
